Where We Meet: Watford Chess Club meets weekly at Field Junior School Annexe, Elfrida Road, Watford, WD18 0AZ. Club nights are on Mondays for both adults (7.30 onwards) and juniors (6.0 onwards), with opportunities for both casual play and competitive games.

Who Can Join: We welcome members of all playing levels and abilities, provided they understand the basic rules of chess and obtain ECF membership before participating in any rated games. Club policy offers newcomers a complimentary guest visit to experience the club’s atmosphere before deciding whether to apply for membership.
